LSC spends the international children's protection day at work together with children June 11th, 2018
In order to turn the attention of population and employers to the balance between career and the private life, as well as to strengthen the Latvian families, on June 1 LSC held activity "Children at work" of Amigo initiative "For Happy Families". Within its framework, LSC invited the employees to come to work together with their children and made sure to provide a wide range of activities for them.

LSC Annual Officers' Seminar gathers 100 Officers May 11th, 2018
LSC Annual Officers' Seminar took place on 3 May 2018 and gathered approximately 100 officers. Robert Kirkup, Chairman of the LSC Board , stated at the seminar that this year both the number of seamen and vessels of the fleet has increased.
Rebranding activities and a new name – LSC March 27th, 2018
“LSC Shipmanagement”, subsidiary of the JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” (LSC), informs about its rebranding activities and introduces a new name – LSC. While implementing changes, also new visual identity of the company is developed – bringing it closer to the visual guidelines of the LSC shareholder “Vitol Group”.
LSC Shipmanagement increases its fleet with bitumen tanker March 26th, 2018
On Friday, March 23, representatives of LSC visited Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, Saint-Petersburg, Russia, where they presented to the upcoming seafarers company “LSC Shipmanagement” (LSC) SIA, provided information about fleet overview, fleet personnel and future goals.

Document of Compliance issued by Lloyd’s Register confirms that the Company is capable of managing oil and chemical tankers in accordance with established safety and quality standards. The Company and all ships comply with specific safety and environment protection requirements of all States worldwide, including U.S. Coast Guard shipping standards and U.S. environment protection legislation – OPA-90, VGP (Vessel General Permit), etc.


More than 90% of about 1400 employees are from Latvia.
